KNF Designs' decorative mosaic tables are handmade to order in the USA by designers and craftsmen at Neille Olson Home & Garden. All the mosaic table tops feature hand-cut tiles made from opaque stained glass, marble or travertine. Then the tiles are hand laid into beautiful designs in a 1-inch cement colored mix creating a durable and beautiful table. The unique molding process used for the production of KNF mosaic tables ensures there are no sharp or jagged edges. All tables are handmade so shapes, colors, and sizes will vary slightly. Sealing: KNF table tops are treated with a penetrating grout sealer and need to be resealed 1-2 times per season. Sealing the top will help to prevent fading as well as repel moisture and resist staining. To seal the top, use a slightly damp clean sponge or cloth and wipe the entire surface. Then wipe off and buff the glass tiles. For grout sealer, we recommend 511 Impregnator by Miracle Sealants. You can find this product at Home Depot and most other home centers.
Cleaning: Use mild, non-abrasive dish soap and water. Harsh chemicals will strip the sealer!
Weather Restrictions: While these tables are designed for outdoor use, it is suggested that they not be exposed to freezing temperatures, and be stored top flat. Do not roll tables on the sides/edges.
Fixing Chips and Scratches: If the side of the table top gets marked, use fine sandpaper to remove the scuff and make sure to reseal that area. If sanding changes the color of the table you can fill the mark with grout and then reseal.
Please Note: We can ship KNF Designs mosaic tables and furniture nearly anywhere in the USA. If shipped (e.g., not delivered by our staff), please be aware that it will likely be shipped unassembled, in cartons. Carefully unpack the cartons and ensure all needed materials called for in the assembly instructions are identified. It is also advisable to keep all of the packaging until you are finished and satisfied with the assembled product (you may have inadvertently left a component in the carton). Pay careful attention to the assembly instructions including the selection of exact and correct hardware and/or proper tools for each step of the process. Some items require more assembly than others and you may want to have at least one other person there to assist you, since some parts are heavy and easier to handle with two able-bodied people on hand.
