Now based in Jacksonville, FL, Ebel Inc. continues to successfully operate – on a much larger scale – with the same “family company” values with which the business started. In the global environment that we live in today, Ebel, Inc. is making every effort to remain environmentally responsible. All aluminum and weather wicker is 100% recyclable and their teak components are harvested only from sustainable and renewable source plantations. Providing a strong and long-lasting product not only ensures low maintenance for the consumer, but also helps to keep our environment a cleaner place by reducing the amount of harmful chemical cleaners needed and by reducing the amount of waste.
In 2008, Ebel, Inc. partnered with Trees for the Future – an organization committed to furthering sustainable agroforestry in developing countries. Since its inception, Trees for the Future has planted nearly 50 million trees – which are estimated to remove 1 million tons of environmentally harmful CO2 from the atmosphere EACH YEAR. Ebel, Inc. has committed to planting enough trees to offset the carbon emissions resulting from the daily operations at their headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, and they have also committed to plant one tree for every piece of Ebel furniture produced and have already planted over 85,000 trees!
As of 2009 all of Ebel's marketing materials are printed in a facility that is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, whose mission is to promote well-managed forests by ensuring forestry practices that are environmentally responsible, socially equitable, and economically viable.

Please Note: We can ship Ebel outdoor furniture nearly anywhere in the USA. If shipped (e.g., not delivered by our staff) please be aware that it will likely be shipped unassembled, in cartons. Carefully unpack the cartons and ensure all needed materials called for in the assembly instructions are located. It is advisable to keep the cartoning until you are finished and satisfied with the assembled product (as you may have inadvertently left a component in a carton). Pay careful attention to the assembly instructions, including the selection of exact and correct hardware and/or proper tools for each step of the process. Some items require more assembly than others, and you may want to have at least another person there to assist you, since some parts are heavy, and easier to handle with two able-bodied people on hand.
